Assuring Casting Consistency

Once we have a wax that has passed through the Quality Control Team it is time to attach the wax to a small wax tree.  Before your wax can be "set up" on a tree it first must be evaluated for the following:

 

  1. Is the sprue in the right position and the right size?
  2. What will be the best angle to too attach the wax to the tree?
  3. What temperature will these pieces be cast at?


All of this information is recorded so that next time you place an order for the same piece we can maintain consistency in our "set up" process.  Over the years, our casting technicians have worked with many designers and artists. We have an extensive 'library of knowledge' of how to cast almost any type of design.
